Sashidharan P. Chirukandoth, a 55-year-old man, went missing on December 23, 2003, while kayaking on the McKenzie River near Eugene, Oregon. On that day, his kayak overturned around 3:50 p.m., near the vicinity of Partridge Lane, and he was not seen again. Despite extensive search efforts by rescue teams, including the Lane County Sheriff's Office, no immediate trace of Chirukandoth was found.
