On October 30, 2004, 48-year-old Kimberly Ann Forbes was last seen at her home in the 1600 block of Jeanette Road in Hood River, Oregon. She had a conversation with her teenage daughter that evening, outlining her plans for the following day, October 31. Forbes, a female described as reliable and punctual, intended to meet a friend for breakfast just a few miles from her home and then continue on to Portland for a solo shopping trip.
