On November 13, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Karly Wood. The shooting took place at 33rd and Ames Streets during an early Sunday morning party that Karly was attending with her coworkers. The violent event left seven people injured and Karly as the sole fatality.
