Do you know who murdered Jakela, Latecia and Cameron? Latecia J. Fox, 24 years old, was one of three victims killed during a tragic shooting at a house party in Omaha on January 24, 2015. The incident took place at a vacant home near 34th and Parker Streets, where around 50 people were gathered. Gunfire erupted around 2 a.m., resulting in the deaths of Fox, 19-year-old JaKela Foster, and 26-year-old Cameron Harris. Five others were also wounded in the attack.
Despite investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
The Omaha Police have attributed the violence to gang-related activity, with multiple shooters believed to have been involved. However, many of the witnesses at the scene have been reluctant to cooperate with law enforcement due to fear of retaliation. Authorities continue to appeal to the public for information that could help bring those responsible to justice. Fox's family, along with the families of the other victims, have been left to mourn the loss of their loved ones as they await answers.
