Shannon Elizabeth Rishel, a 25-year-old mother of two, went missing on July 9, 1995, near Rufus, Oregon. According to her boyfriend, the two were driving in a rural area when their white Camaro got stuck on a dirt road. He reported that he fell asleep in the car and, upon waking up, discovered that Shannon was gone. Her personal items, including the clothing she was wearing, her purse, and identification, were left in the vehicle.
