Ahren Benjamin Barnard, age 35, was last seen on the evening of December 4, 2004, in Boise, Idaho. He was at a McDonald’s located on Cole and Overland Road, where he dropped off his young son with the child's mother around 7:00 PM. Barnard, who had plans to see his son the next day, never arrived for the scheduled visit. His last known phone call was made at 7:15 PM that same evening, after which he vanished without a trace.
The following day, Barnard’s vehicle was found parked at his residence on Southerland Drive, but there was no sign of him. His dog, cat, passport, and other personal belongings were left behind, which raised concerns. At the time of his disappearance, Barnard was a gun dealer and also worked as a DJ at local clubs. He had been involved in a custody dispute and had some personal tensions, but there is no conclusive evidence linking these issues to his disappearance. Despite extensive investigations and his family's assertions that he was a dedicated father who would never willingly abandon his child, no substantial leads have surfaced, and foul play is suspected.
