Holly Ann Hughes, a 7-year-old girl from Staten Island, New York, disappeared on the evening of July 15, 1981. Her mother had sent her to a nearby deli to purchase soap, and Holly was last seen around 9:30 p.m. near Richmond Terrace and Park Avenue. She never returned home, and despite extensive searches, she was never seen again. Witnesses reported seeing Holly at the deli and possibly near a green Volkswagen owned by Andre Rand, a local man with a criminal history of child-related crimes.
