Paget Renee Barr, 29, disappeared on July 26, 1986, from Oroville, California. She was last seen at a bus station with a male acquaintance who mentioned they were heading to a Western Union office to pick up money. According to the acquaintance, Paget later got into a blue Datsun 280z with her boyfriend, John Woolen, who was reportedly involved in methamphetamine production and connected to the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. She was never heard from again.
Paget left behind two daughters, and she never picked up her final welfare check. Her mother reported her missing on August 1, 1986. Investigators have long suspected foul play in her disappearance, given the circumstances and Woolen’s criminal background. While Woolen has been cleared in another girlfriend's disappearance, he remains a person of interest in Paget's case. Unfortunately, little additional information has surfaced since her disappearance, and her case remains unsolved.
