Judy Eileen Smith, aged 26, was last seen on November 3, 1988, in Chico, California. She may have been on her way to a job in Oroville or to Quincy, California, when she disappeared. Smith left behind all of her personal belongings, including her clothing, makeup, and purse, which was highly uncharacteristic of her. Her roommate reported her missing ten days later on November 12, and foul play is suspected in her case.
Smith was described as being 5'5" tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She had distinctive features, including two moles on the left side of her face, scars on her chin and left leg, a gap between her front teeth, and a previously fractured wrist. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a t-shirt, blue Levi's jeans, gray and white low-top shoes, a gold Timex watch, and a gold necklace with the letter "J."
Despite investigations, no substantial leads have surfaced regarding her whereabouts, and the Butte County Sheriff's Office continues to seek information in her case.
