Rhonda Lynn Yocom, a 19-year-old woman from Oroville, California, was last seen on February 7, 1985. She was reportedly picked up by Odis "Buck" Garrett, a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang, who was supposed to drive her to Klamath Falls, Oregon, so she could avoid appearing in court. Garrett, however, may have taken her to his house in Vallejo, California, instead. On February 11, Yocom made a phone call to her boyfriend, John Woolen, who was also associated with the Hells Angels. This was the last time anyone heard from her.
Yocom's disappearance is considered suspicious, and foul play is suspected. Garrett, who is serving multiple life sentences for unrelated crimes, has never been formally charged in connection with her case. Authorities have not suspected Woolen in Yocom's disappearance but believe he may have been involved in the disappearance of another girlfriend, Paget Barr, years later.
Rhonda Yocom, who had Filipino heritage, had distinguishing features such as a tattoo of a unicorn or rose on her breast, scars on her legs, and pierced ears. Despite the passage of time, her case remains unsolved, and investigators continue to seek information to uncover the truth behind her disappearance.
