Debbie Misquez Escalante, a 29-year-old woman from Las Cruces, New Mexico, was last seen on August 21, 1989. That evening, she attended a party near 5th Street and West Picacho Avenue in Las Cruces. Around midnight, Debbie left the party with a male coworker and went to his apartment located on West Las Cruces Avenue. Shortly after arriving, Debbie was seen running from the apartment in the direction of Pioneer Park. She has not been seen or heard from since that night.
