Debbie Misquez Escalante, a 29-year-old woman from Las Cruces, New Mexico, was last seen on August 21, 1989. That evening, she attended a party near 5th Street and West Picacho Avenue in Las Cruces. Around midnight, Debbie left the party with a male coworker and went to his apartment located on West Las Cruces Avenue. Shortly after arriving, Debbie was seen running from the apartment in the direction of Pioneer Park. She has not been seen or heard from since that night.

At the time of her disappearance, Debbie was wearing a gray t-shirt and gray pants. She had several tattoos, including a rose on her right breast, a unicorn on her right shoulder, and tattoos on her right hand and finger. There are few details about what happened after she left the apartment, and her case remains unsolved. Authorities suspect that she may have been abducted, but no solid leads have emerged in the years since her disappearance.

Despite efforts by her family and law enforcement to find her, Debbie’s whereabouts remain unknown. Investigators continue to encourage anyone with information to come forward to help bring resolution to this long-standing case.
