Rita Michele Maxwell, 25, was last seen on March 1, 1992, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She left her home on Dundeen Street, saying she was going to visit someone, but never returned. She was officially reported missing on March 17. Maxwell was involved in drug activity at the time, frequenting drug houses, and had a criminal history related to drugs and prostitution.
