In the days leading up to Christmas in 2006, a sense of quiet concern began to grow in Charlotte, North Carolina. Forty-two-year-old Velva Theresarose Lewis was last seen on December 23, 2006, leaving her home on Nations Ford Road. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing pink pants and a beige top adorned with flowers. Little did anyone know that this would be the last time she was seen by those who knew her.
