Carmen Gonzalez-Pinto, a 26-year-old mother of three, was last seen on August 28, 2016, leaving her home on Waterford Hills Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. She had been living with her parents at the time. Carmen had a history of memory loss and cognitive impairment due to brain injuries sustained in a 2010 car accident, leaving her with the mental capacity of a child. This made her particularly vulnerable, raising concerns about her safety when she disappeared.
