In the early autumn of 2023, 32-year-old Chelsea Grimm embarked on a cross-country road trip from her home in San Diego, California, with the ultimate destination of a wedding in Connecticut. She was traveling in her white Ford Escape SUV with her beloved bearded dragon, Roxy.
