Elizabeth Walston Godwin, a 77-year-old woman from Camden, North Carolina, was last seen on May 22, 1988. Godwin lived with her daughter and son-in-law at the time. On the night of her disappearance, she went to bed around 9:30 p.m. Later, after 11:00 p.m., her daughter left the house to pick up her husband from work.
