On July 18, 2024, 29‑year‑old Caitlin Ann Hodges of Crystal Lake, Illinois, vanished while visiting Goldsboro, North Carolina, where she was staying with her boyfriend. A missing persons report was filed by the Goldsboro Police Department on July 25, 2024 .
