Curtis McCoy, a 2-year-old boy, went missing on November 18, 1989, while visiting Newark, New Jersey, for the Thanksgiving holidays. At the time, Curtis lived with his mother in South Carolina, but he was visiting his father, Curtis Williams, in Newark. According to Williams, Curtis vanished while they were shopping in downtown Newark. He was reportedly walking just behind his father, his father's girlfriend, and his two half-sisters when he disappeared.
