On August 16, 2023, Mohammad Arif Jafari, a 25-year-old man from Syracuse, New York, was reported missing. A family member last saw him at approximately 9:30 in the morning. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a green t-shirt and khaki pants but had no shoes on. The last known location for Mr. Jafari was in Newark, New Jersey. The Newark Police Department's Special Victims Unit is handling the investigation into his disappearance.
