Elizabeth Bump, aged 38, went missing on April 9, 1993, from Staten Island, New York. She was last seen leaving her job as a home health care aide. A witness, the patient she was caring for, reported seeing two unidentified men summoning her across the street as she exited the residence. Five days later, her car, a 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix, was found abandoned a few blocks away, wiped clean of fingerprints. No trace of Elizabeth has been found since.

At the time of her disappearance, Bump had been living with her sister, Linda, who was married to Charles Chorman, a convicted automobile thief. There were rumors that Bump and Chorman were romantically involved, although this has never been confirmed. Chorman initially assisted in the investigation but later became a person of interest when another woman, Anna Marie Scivetti, who had connections to Chorman, also went missing in 1998. Despite suspicions, no one has been charged in either disappearance, and both cases remain unsolved. Investigators continue to search for answers in these connected disappearances.
