At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a light-colored blouse, denim shorts, and sneakers, and was carrying a small, two-handled beige duffel-style bag. Laura, a mother of three, had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a condition for which she required medication and which caused her to have trouble walking. She has not been seen or heard from since. Laura's live-in boyfriend, and the father of her youngest child, reported her missing when he returned home from work to find she was gone. There were no signs of a struggle inside their home. The fact that she left behind her three children and her necessary medication was immediately alarming to her family and investigators. At the time she vanished, Laura was separated from her husband, who is the father of her two older children. Authorities have stated that foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
