Susan Carol Laimer, 42, was last seen on February 7, 2001, in Sugar Loaf, New York. She had been dealing with several personal struggles, including alcoholism and a rare blood disease that left purple scars on her legs. She also had scars from plastic surgery and back surgery. Before her disappearance, Susan had begun a three-day alcohol rehabilitation program at Mercy Community Hospital on February 26, 2001.
