In the spring of 2013, 33-year-old Shannon Elizabeth Merry's life was in a state of flux. Once married with a successful career as a sales assistant for Citigroup in Manhattan, she was facing personal challenges that led her back to her hometown of Ronkonkoma, New York. The last confirmed contact with Shannon was on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.
