Marilyn Brinson, a 47-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was last seen on the night of July 16, 2002, at her home. Her husband, John Brinson, reported that she went to bed as usual that night, and the following morning, when he awoke, she was gone. He assumed she had left for work. However, her co-workers later called to report that she had failed to arrive for her shift at a local Texaco station.
