Katrina Ashford, an 18-year-old woman, went missing on July 11, 1972, from San Rafael, California. She was last seen by her parents before disappearing. Three days after she was last seen, her car was found abandoned in nearby Marin County, raising further concerns about her whereabouts. At the time of her disappearance, Katrina was described as being 5 feet tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Despite the recovery of her vehicle and various investigations, very little information has emerged about Katrina's disappearance over the years. There have been suspicions that she may have been involved in a prostitution ring operating in the San Francisco area, but no definitive leads have been established. The case has not seen significant updates for decades, and authorities continue to ask for the public's help in resolving her disappearance.
The mystery surrounding Katrina's case remains unsolved, and it continues to be one of the many cold cases in California. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
