In the late summer of 1978, a young man named Jimmy Wayne Edwards, 22 years old, vanished from his life in Lexington, North Carolina. He was a husband and a father, working a job at the Young Hinkle Furniture Company to support his family. Jimmy was last seen on August 16, 1978. The days leading up to his disappearance were fraught with conflict.
