Theodore Frederick Kampf, a 46-year-old resident of Oaklyn, New Jersey, was last seen on July 13, 1981. He had embarked on a road trip from New Jersey to Canada, driving his 1980 Chevrolet pickup truck. His family received correspondence from him up until July 11, and on July 13, he called to inform them he was in Mount Vernon, Washington, preparing to cross the border into Canada.
