John Lusher, a 41-year-old man, went missing on July 2, 1983, in Davenport, California. On the day of his disappearance, Lusher and two companions, Stephen Cook and Sanford Delano, were reportedly lost at sea approximately three miles off the coast of Davenport. The trio had ventured out together, but they never returned. Despite efforts to locate them, no signs of the men or their boat were ever recovered, leading to an unsolved missing person case.
