Sanford Warren Delano, a 44-year-old man from California, was last seen on July 2, 1983. Delano, along with two companions, Stephen Cook and John Lusher, went missing while at sea, approximately three miles off the coast of Davenport, a small town located north of Santa Cruz, California. The group had embarked on a fishing or boating trip when they disappeared.
