Denise Pflum, an 18-year-old high school senior from Connersville, Indiana, was last seen on March 28, 1986. She left her home that afternoon to retrieve her purse, which she had left at a party the night before. Denise was driving her cream-colored 1981 Buick Regal. Although she was expected to return home shortly, she never did, and her car was later found abandoned along Tower Road, about three miles from her destination.
