Thelma Jean Cobb, a 29-year-old woman from Fort Branch, Indiana, disappeared on January 1, 1946. She was last seen after visiting her father and stepmother, taking a bus to see them between Vincennes and Fort Branch. Thelma was supposed to return home after the visit but vanished during the trip.
