Lola Katherine Fry, a 28-year-old woman from Greenwood, Indiana, was last seen on November 14, 1993. On the night of her disappearance, she attended a party at a friend’s apartment in Indianapolis. Lola was last known to have left the gathering in her red and black 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which bore the personalized license plate "LOLA." She was reportedly en route to Fort Wayne, Indiana, but never arrived. Both she and her vehicle have been missing ever since.
At the time of her disappearance, Lola was involved in a significant legal case. She and other dancers had filed a class action lawsuit against a plastic surgeon and Dow Corning, alleging malpractice related to silicone breast implants. Her disappearance occurred the day she was scheduled to give a final deposition in the lawsuit. After she vanished, the other plaintiffs dropped the case. Some believe her involvement in the lawsuit may have played a role in her fate.
