On a summer night in June of 1979, twenty-three-year-old Vali Davis went out with friends to a popular Indianapolis nightclub called Lucifer's Restaurant, located in the 3500 block of East 86th Street. The club was known for its disco music and dancing. At some point in the early morning hours of June 24th, Vali was seen walking toward her car in the restaurant's parking lot.
