Kathryn Adam, a 35-year-old woman from Salina, Kansas, was last seen on April 29, 1993. That morning, Kathryn visited a Kwik Shop in Salina at around 4:30 a.m. before heading to her storage unit, where she typically loaded hosiery supplies for her job as a delivery driver. However, she never returned home, and her 16-year-old daughter reported her missing the next day.

Her van, a white Ford with "She has L'eggs" written on the sides, was found abandoned later that evening near Russell’s Restaurant, which was closed for remodeling at the time. The van was covered in mud on the outside and had significant blood inside. Blood was also discovered at the storage unit, along with evidence suggesting an attack took place while she was loading her van. Despite an extensive investigation, no trace of Kathryn was found, and her case remains unsolved, though foul play is suspected.
