April Susanne Wiss, 16, was last seen on the night of January 11, 2000, leaving her apartment complex in Wichita, Kansas. A friend reported seeing her walking toward Pawnee Street and Broadway Street between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. that evening. April took her wallet, pager, and apartment keys, leaving her belongings, $150 in cash, and a freshly baked cake behind, suggesting she intended to return.
