Lisa Stasi, a 19-year-old mother, disappeared on January 9, 1985, from Overland Park, Kansas, along with her 4-month-old daughter, Tiffany. Lisa had been staying at a shelter for women after leaving her troubled marriage in late 1984. She became involved with John Edward Robinson, a con man who presented himself as someone offering help to single mothers through a fraudulent outreach program.
