Matthew Ellis Keith, 35, was last seen on February 15, 2011, in El Paso, Texas. He had been arrested upon his return from Juarez, Mexico, for a parole violation and was held in the El Paso County Jail. Though his family expected him to be released on February 25, he was actually released 10 days earlier. Upon his release, officers dropped him off at a Greyhound bus station and provided him with a transportation voucher to travel to his father’s home in Marshall, Texas.
However, Matthew never arrived in Marshall, and no one has heard from him since that day.
Matthew has a history of bipolar disorder, for which he requires medication. His family is concerned that without his medication, he may have experienced a mental breakdown. Despite struggling with alcohol abuse and having multiple DWIs, Matthew was always in contact with his family, making his disappearance unusual. His loved ones fear for his safety, especially as there has been no activity on his bank account, and he did not have a cell phone at the time.
Both the El Paso and Houston police departments are investigating the case, but as of now, it remains unsolved.Last Seen: Feb 15, 2011
