Faun Moulton Moon, aged 50, disappeared from Eugene, Oregon, on March 1, 1969. She was going through emotional turmoil following a recent divorce and was last seen after putting her financial affairs in order and writing goodbye letters to her daughters. On the day she vanished, she left her home wearing a turquoise coat, a nightgown, and loafers. She was reported to be distraught at the time and walked away from her life, never to be heard from again.
