In the late summer of 1973, a 24-year-old woman named Vicki Lynn Hollar disappeared from Eugene, Oregon, leaving behind a life that was just beginning to blossom. On August 20th, Vicki, a recent college graduate who had moved from Illinois just two months prior, finished her shift as a seamstress at the Bon Marche department store.
