In the small, picturesque town of Seward, Alaska, nestled between mountains and the sea, 22-year-old Mary Kathleen Thill disappeared on July 5, 1975. At the time, her husband was away, working on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, a common reality for many families in the region.
