Augustine Gomez, a 27-year-old man, was last seen on December 25, 1985, in Othello, Washington. Despite his disappearance occurring on Christmas Day, his case remained largely unnoticed for many years. Gomez's family reported him missing only in 2012, after years of no contact, despite a known law enforcement interaction in 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona, long after his disappearance.
