In the days leading up to Christmas in 1999, the life of a 20-year-old woman named Kimberly T. Tatum took an unforeseen and tragic turn. On December 21st of that year, Kimberly, a resident of St. Louis, Missouri, began her day like any other, with plans to head to her job at a local Sam's Club.
