Janice Kaye Dietz, aged 33, was last seen on the night of September 10, 1991, leaving her boyfriend's residence on McNair Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri, at around 11:00 p.m. Three days later, on September 13, her car was discovered abandoned in a parking lot of a National Super Market on Chippewa Street, not far from her apartment on Ellenwood Avenue.
