Bryan Edward Opstedahl, a 31-year-old from Missoula, Montana, was last seen on May 23, 2003, in a remote area of Idaho County, Idaho. He was part of a caravan of vehicles traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 12 near milepost 134 when his truck drifted off the road. After overcorrecting, his vehicle went over an embankment and into the Lochsa River. Witnesses saw Opstedahl inside the truck as it submerged in the river.
