Curtis Gregory Kelsay, a 61-year-old man from Boise, Idaho, was last seen on April 15, 2020. He left his home near Lakeharbor and State Street without his phone, wallet, or medication, which he needed for unspecified medical reasons. He did, however, take a headlamp and possibly walking poles. Curtis was reported missing by his family, who noted that his departure was unusual as he had not been sleeping well and was under significant stress related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Authorities located his silver 2010 Honda Civic abandoned at the Dry Creek trailhead on Bogus Basin Road, a popular hiking area near Boise. Extensive searches of the surrounding area did not yield any clues regarding his whereabouts. Curtis’s wife mentioned that his disappearance was highly uncharacteristic, adding to concerns that something might have gone wrong during his hike. Despite efforts by search teams and police, Curtis remains missing, and his case is still open.
