Duane Earl Patterson, a 58-year-old transient in the Lake Arrowhead/Crestline area of California, was last seen on October 7, 2011. Duane typically checked in with his family periodically, but after October 2011, no one heard from him again. Although Patterson had previously lived in North Dakota, he had been residing in the Crestline area before his disappearance. Given his regular contact with family, his sudden silence raised concerns, prompting them to report him missing.
