Elizabeth Sykora, aged 21, was last seen on July 2, 1983, in Creedmoor, North Carolina. She was reported missing several months later, on October 20, 1983, by her relatives, who found it unusual that they had not heard from her for such a long time. At the time of her disappearance, Sykora was described as being 5'10" tall, weighing between 120 to 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
