Danny Wright, a 46-year-old man from Smyrna, Tennessee, was tragically shot multiple times on August 7, 2014, while working on a vehicle in a driveway on Kings Road. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center via Lifeflight helicopter but succumbed to his injuries. The suspect, described as a tall, skinny black male wearing dark clothes, fled the scene in a late-model tan or white sedan.
