On the morning of August 7, 2014, 46-year-old Danny Wright was outside a home on Kings Road in Smyrna, Tennessee, working on a vehicle in the driveway. Suddenly, a masked individual approached him and shot him multiple times at close range before fleeing the scene in a light-colored vehicle. Emergency services arrived to find Mr. Wright with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and torso. He was quickly transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but he did not survive his ...
