In the winter of 1997, a profound mystery began to unfold in the small city of Conover, North Carolina. It was on December 1st of that year that 31-year-old Randy Eugene Shuford was last seen. An African American man with brown eyes and black hair, Randy was a tall individual, standing between 6 feet and 6 feet 4 inches, with a solid build of around 200 to 210 pounds.
