Emil Sarsmit, age 38, was last seen on July 24, 2005, in Amsterdam, New York. His disappearance occurred under troubling circumstances. Sarsmit left behind a letter to his parents indicating that he was in some kind of trouble and needed to leave. His vehicle was found abandoned on Elias Street in Amsterdam. Adding to the mystery, a British Airways ticket was purchased in his name on July 25, 2005, the day after he vanished.
